Artist Call Outs
Vulcana has call outs for emerging and established artists to create and present new works throughout the year. Following us on social media or subscribing to our newsletter is the best way to hear about upcoming call outs.
Vacant Room Residencies
Vulcana’s Vacant room residencies support local artists to create new work and broaden their artistic practise by providing reduced or fee-free access to the Vulcana Arts Hub.
To qualify for a residency artists or collectives must have a cast that is made up of a majority of artists from under-represented genders (female, non-binary and trans artists encouraged to apply).
Applications are open year round with space availability fluctuating throughout the year.

Open Training
The Vulcana space is open to independent artists for self directed training on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Thursdays are open to all genders, Sundays are reserved for women, trans and non-binary people.
